Learn the bundle dyeing technique at home to create a naturally unique and colourful British wool sock blank using our new kit!
Using a selection of dried homegrown and responsibly foraged flowers and leaves, you will decorate the sock blank (a knitted length of fabric) which you will then roll and tie together before steaming to lock in the colour. Once dried and washed, you will then have a 100g of unique yarn to use for yarn crafts – the colour and pattern will reveal itself as you knit with it!
The sock blank has been machine knitted by Ria in a 100% British Corriedale wool yarn developed for socks. It is non-superwash and has no nylon content, and has been pre washed and mordanted so it is ready for dyeing.
The kit includes:
A 100g Corriedale wool sock blank pre-mordanted and ready for dyeing
Dried flowers, leaves and other botanicals
